The successful show Milenio 3, hosted and directed by Iker Jiménez for Cadena SER (Spain), now airs in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Miami and Los Angeles too. Milenio 3 focuses on news that don’t fall directly into the category of mainstream media, but rather those mysterious areas of life that peak interest in human beings. Milenio 3 brings listeners a deep analysis of non solved police investigations, mysteries, sorcery, apparitions, magic…

Carrusel Mundial is our summary on the week’s sporting events in the World! A one of a kind show that connects our stations in America and Europe to bring the latest news, results, interviews and reports. It airs in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, USA and Spain.

A Service for Hispanic Families

 

 

Renowned, Emmy Award winning Dr. Luis Novoa Pacheco joins GLR’s team of professionals to host Cita con el Doctor, a health-topic show that looks to answer our listeners’ questions and health concerns, all the while helping our community.

 

This show gives listeners the opportunity to ask the doctor all their questions related to health and wellness by calling 1 866 526 9026 or sending an e-mail to doctor@glrnetworks.com. Dr. Pacheco, also know as “Médico Familiar de Nuestra Comunidad” (Family Doctor of Our Community) answers all these questions and finds a way for listeners to improve their physical state and general wellbeing.

 

This is show is offered by GLR through its affiliated stations network in order to  help Hispanic families, showing our commitment to the Hispanic Community in the US.

 

The one hour show airs live Monday through Friday, 11am-12pm PST / 2-3pm EST.

 

 

 

 

 

Hosted by Samuel Jacobo, Karina Vazques, Pablo Contreras and Toño Groño (better known as "Los Bravos de la Tarde"), Bazar Deportivo is the most entertaining radio sports show.

 

Every Monday through Friday, Los Bravos de la Tarde bring listeners a fun and accurate review of all Sporting events.

 

Segments such as “Confesionario de Karina”, Pablo Contrera’s “Biografías”, Toño Groño’s “Solo para filosos” and the participation of the listeners make Bazar Deportivo the best evening sports show!

 

The two hour show airs live Monday through Friday, 5-7pm PST / 8-10pm EST.

Grupo PRISA’s Hoy por Hoy was the first Spanish Language Radio Show broadcasted on Second Life

Hoy por Hoy, Cadena SER’s morning show directed and hosted by Carlos Francino, was the first Spanish language radio program ever aired on Second Life. In this way, Cadena SER has become the first Spanish language radio network broadcasting on Second Life, an online society that has millions of daily visitors.

 

• GLR Networks Expands its Team to Better Serve Advertiser Needs

After GLR Networks huge growth in 2006, the company announced a reinforcement of their national sales team with representatives in Los Angeles and Dallas to compliment headquarters in Miami.

 

Charles Hart joins GLR Networks in Dallas. He brings to the Company experience as Regional Account Manager for JCDecaux Outdoor Media Company, where he generated over $4.8 million in new business revenue. Prior to this, he worked as Account Executive for Radio Unica servicing various multi-cultural agencies in Spanish Radio.

 

Regarding his new relationship with GLR, Charles noted, "GLR Networks produces high quality programming and has excellent distribution. It offers advertisers a great opportunity to reach Hispanics living in the US.”

 

Livinio Stuyck, from GLR’s station in Los Angeles - W Radio 690, also joins in to attract new advertisers, “Los Angeles is the biggest Hispanic Market in the US. Many of the most important agencies and advertisers are located here and it is necessary to give them the special attention they deserve.”

 

Luis Gutierrez, Director of Ad Sales, continues to oversee business development, sales strategy, sponsorships and advertising sales for GLR's domestic and pan-regional sales efforts headquartered in Miami. In making the announcement, Mr. Gutierrez said: “We are pleased to have Charles’ and Livinio’s help; we look forward to seeing their contributions as we position GLR for future growth that will come from great content and increase of station line up.”
