Fútbol Mexicano ¡al día!  brings listeners up-to-date coverage of Mexican Soccer - including the First Division League and the National Team (TRI), as well as all the news about Mexican players that succeed all over the world: Highlights, scores and interviews, brought by legendary Jorge Campos, with the support of established and experienced sports journalist, Ricardo Mayorga. Together they will bring the most current news on soccer every day.

The agile length of Fútbol Mexicano ¡al día! makes it the perfect choice for AM and FM Music formats. These three (3) two and a half daily features easily adjust to the rest of the station’s programming.

Campos is one of the most notable Mexican soccer players in the 1990s. Although usually playing as a goalkeeper, he was also a particularly good attacker, making him an especially interesting player. Often he would start a game in goal, but transfer to the attack later in the match. In the Mexican league, Campos played for Pumas, Atlante, Cruz Azul, Tigres, and Puebla. He also played in Major League Soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Chicago Fire. Campos started for Mexico in the 1994 and 1998 World Cups and had compiled 129 caps for his country. He was assistant coach to head coach Ricardo LaVolpe of the Mexican national team in 2004. In 2009, Campos joined GLR Networks to host “Rumbo a Sudáfrica”.

Ricardo Mayorga has an extensive career of almost 30 years as sports journalists, commentator and analyst with some of the largest media companies, including Univision and Telemundo.
